  • Born in 1990 at Qufu, a small city in central Shandong Province, I was then named as Wei Xin (魏欣).
  • Shimen Shan (石门山) is a beautiful hill nearby my hometown. Here are some pictures taken by myself in 2015.
  • I attended several primary schools nearby the village I lived in after my fifth year of coming to this lovely world. Almost all those schools were shut down after my leaving. I always thought I might be responsible for those unfortunate events.
  • I enjoyed my happiest life during the three years at Mingde Middle School (明德中学), who possesses the most beautiful campus in the world, from 2003 to 2006, and made a lot of friends.
  • I attended Shandong University in 2006 after the college entrance exam, and chose theoretical physics as my major. I benefited a lot from my college life, before my graduation in 2010.
  • I was a graduate student at Theoretical Particle Physics Group, Shandong University, working on Particle Physics Phenomenology, 2010-2015. My advisor is Prof. Zuo-tang Liang.
  • I got my Ph.D. in the May of 2015 (Read More). The title of my Ph.D. thesis is 高能正负电子湮灭过程中碎裂函数的研究. Here is my personal copy (in Chinese).
  • I was a postdoc working on heavy-ion physics at Central China Normal University from 2015 to 2017. I was mainly interested in the jet quenching.
  • I was a postdoc at CPhT, Ecole Polytechnique (2017-2019), Palaiseau, France. I started to work on the small-x saturation physics. Paris is a city with magnificent beauty which you can never get tired of. Here are several selected photos and an introduction (in Chinese).
  • During my stay in Paris, France won the World Cup. Qui ne saute pas n'est pas français.
  • In the February of 2019, I received and accepted the postdoc offer from ECT*, Trento, Italy. The position was started in the September.
  • In the Spring of 2020, the COVID-19 crisis erupted in Italy. The situation was exacerbated rapidly since the first case was confirmed on Feb. 22. A complete lockdown at the national level was announced on Mar. 10 to address the exponential escalation in infections. About two weeks (estimated incubation time) later, on Mar. 22, a small positive signal was finally grasped. Let's keep our fingers crossed the circumstance is getting better and better.
